DebtBusters is always proud to hand our clients their clearance certificates, signifying an end to their debt review process and the beginning of debt freedom.
When we handed a clearance certificate to our 1000th debt free client last December, we invited them to DebtBusters for a special tour around the office. A married couple, they were presented with a framed copy of their clearance certificate to celebrate the end of their five-year journey to debt freedom.
DebtBusters has helped over 60 000 people get back on track with their finances, presented 1700 clearance certificates in 2017 and was thrilled to have the couple in our office to celebrate!
Whilst on their tour of the DebtBusters office, the clients recalled the great service they had received from the financial consultant who signed them up to debt counselling in 2012. This gave them the opportunity to express their gratitude and appreciation towards him in person.
When they walked through the Client Services Department, the floor of excited consultants erupted into a round of applause for the newly debt free couple — a very powerful and emotional moment highlighting an appreciation of the dedication that goes into committing to the process of becoming debt free.

Find out moreOur clients were very touched by the emotional moment with the Client Services consultants. They expressed how they felt enormous gratitude towards DebtBusters and thanked the people for all the work they do and for all the people they help on a daily basis.
They were also introduced to DebtBusters’ sister company, Consumer Debt Help (CDH), and were met by another huge round of applause from the ecstatic CDH people. CDH is the first Debt Counsellor in South Africa to assist low income earners with managing their debt.
Finally, the clients met DebtBusters CEO and Founder, who was overjoyed to see DebtBusters 1000th debt free clients obtain their clearance certificate in the office.
